Must never have been publicly produced (Zoom readings or staged readings okay)

Playwrights must currently live in Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Napa, or Solano Counties.

Particular consideration will be given to playwrights from historically disenfranchised backgrounds, although all playwrights are welcome to submit.

Particular consideration will be given to plays that address current, relevant topics to our community (i.e. the Lamorinda community and/or larger Bay Area community).

Plays that are in the final stages of the creation process but are still being revised or worked on are preferred

Please only submit 1 play per playwright.

Development of scripts as opposed to focusing on production value

One week rehearsal period (not including pre-production work playwright does with a Town Hall provided director and dramaturg)

Dramaturg or other facilitator leads talkback in a manner that gives the playwright constructive feedback for future revisions to the work
